DAY 1 DEPART USA
Board your overnight transatlantic flight.

DAY 2 ARRIVE IN FRANKFURT, GERMANY
An afternoon orientation tour includes the medieval Romerplatz. Later, enjoy a Welcome Drink.

DAY 3 FRANKFURT / OBERAMMERGAU
This morning, drive to the quaint village of Oberammergau. After lunch, take your seat for the remarkable Passion Play. The performance starts at 2:30 p.m., running until 5:00 p.m., breaks for dinner, then resumes at 8:00 p.m., ending about 10:30 p.m. (B,L,D)

DAY 4 OBERAMMERGAU / INNSBRUCK, AUSTRIA / VENICE, ITALY
Drive via Innsbruck and the Brenner Pass into Italy. Then continue south to the magical floating city of Venice. Your evening is free. (B,D)

DAY 5 VENICE / FLORENCE
Savor the sights of this Byzantine city on a canal cruise to St. Mark’s Square, viewing the Bridge of Sighs. Visit a traditional glassblowing factory before driving to beautiful Renaissance Florence. Here, sightseeing includes the cathedral and Signoria Square. Tonight, enjoy dinner in a typical restaurant. (B,D)

DAY 6 FLORENCE / LUCERNE, SWITZERLAND
There is time to shop for leather and gold and to see a hidden treasure q before leaving Florence, and Italy, behind. Head north across the Apennines, passing Milan and continuing to the Swiss border in the Lake District. Then take the scenic Gotthard route to lakeside Lucerne. (B)

DAY 7 LUCERNE ORIENTATION AND AT LEISURE
An orientation tour includes the Lion Monument and the Chapel Bridge, then there is time to take an optional mountain excursion or to shop. (B,D)

DAY 8 LUCERNE / PARIS, FRANCE
This morning drive to the French border and cross through wine-producing Burgundy with views of the ancient vineyards at Savigny-Les-Beaune. From here your journey brings you to lively Paris, the French capital. The evening is free. (B)

DAY 9 PARIS SIGHTSEEING AND AT LEISURE
A morning guided tour features the Place de la Concorde, the Champs Elysees, Arc de Triomphe and an ascent to the second level of the Eiffel Tower. There is time at leisure before a Farewell Dinner with your Tour Director and newfound friends. (B,D)

DAY 10 DEPART PARIS
Time to say ‘au revoir’ to Paris, your Tour Director and traveling companions as your memorable tour of Europe comes to an end. There is an airport transfer to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, conditions apply. (B)

The quaint European village of Oberammergau is world famous for the spectacular Passion Play performed by its residents just once every decade. Keeping a pledge made nearly 400 years ago, this reenactment of the crucifixion of Christ preserves the health and well-being of its residents to this day.
