Day 1 - Depart USA
Overnight flight to London.

Day 2 - Arrive London (2 nights)
Welcome to London! After checking into your hotel, the remainder of the day is at leisure to relax and unwind. 

Day 3 - London sightseeing and at leisure
Our morning sightseeing tour includes many major sights of this exciting city, then we enjoy free time to explore on our own. (Buffet breakfast)

Day 4 - London – Bruges – Brussels
We cross the Channel, visit medieval Bruges and see the Atomium, Manneken Pis. Later we enjoy a Welcome Drink with our Tour Director. (Continental breakfast)

Day 5 - Brussels – Rhine Cruise – Heidelberg – Rhineland
Today we see Cologne’s gothic cathedral and enjoy a scenic Rhine cruise and see Heidelberg’s castle. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 6 - Rhineland – Oberammergau
After our visit to Munich we continue to the beautiful village of Oberammergau where we dine in our hotel tonight. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 7 - Passion Play
After breakfast, there is time at leisure followed by lunch at a local restaurant.The Passion Play begins at 2.30pm and runs until 5pm when there is a dinner break. The play resumes at 8pm and finishes at 10.30pm when you are transferred back to your hotel accommodation. (Buffet breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

Day 8 - Oberammergau – Venice
After breakfast, we rejoin our Trafalgar touring coach and meet our fellow travelers before resuming the regular itinerary to Venice via Innsbruck. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 9 - Venice – Rome (2 nights)
We head south across the forested Apennine Mountains and reach the Lazio region and the Eternal City, Rome. (Buffet breakfast)

Day 10 - Rome sightseeing and at leisure
This morning our guided sightseeing tour includes a visit to St. Peter’s Basilica where we admire the Pieta of Michelangelo, the Forum and the mighty Colosseum. (Buffet breakfast)

Day 11 - Rome – Florence
Today we drive north to Renaissance Florence and our guided walking tour includes the cathedral, baptistery, Signoria Square and a visit to Santa Croce Basilica where so many great Italians have been buried, including Michelangelo and a Hidden Treasure of the city with us before we enjoy a delicious Highlight Dinner together. (Buffet breakfast / Highlight dinner)

Day 12 - Florence – Pisa – Monte Carlo – Nice (2 nights)
First we see Pisa’s Leaning Tower, which stands in the Square of Miracles besides the cathedral and baptistery. Then we visit the Principality of Monaco, before arriving in jet-set Nice. (Buffet breakfast)

Day 13 - St. Paul de Vence and Fragonard perfumery
We enjoy an excursion to St. Paul de Vence and the Fragonard Perfumery before returning to our hotel. The remainder of your afternoon is at leisure in Nice. (Buffet breakfast)

Day 14 - Nice – Lake Maggiore – Zermatt
We stop in Stresa on Lake Maggiore then continue on to Tasch where we take electric minibuses to the renowned mountain resort of Zermatt, overlooked by the Matterhorn. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 15 - Zermatt – Geneva
Our Tour Director shows us around this Alpine resort and reveals to us another Hidden Treasure! Then on to international Geneva. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)

Day 16 - Geneva – Savigny-Lès-Beaune – Paris (2 nights)
Today we leave Switzerland and cross the wine-producing Burgundy region, passing the Savigny-Lès-Beaune vineyards. Next on past Auxerrois vineyards until we reach the glittering city of Paris. (Buffet breakfast)

Day 17 - Paris sightseeing and at leisure
Our guided tour features the Place de la Concorde, the Champs Élysées, the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower. We enjoy a Farewell Dinner tonight! (Buffet breakfast / Farewell dinner)

Day 18 - Paris – USA
This morning, after breakfast, it is time to say ‘au revoir’ to Paris and our new-found friends as our tour comes to an end. (Buffet breakfast)

The quaint European village of Oberammergau is world famous for the spectacular Passion Play performed by its residents just once every decade. Keeping a pledge made nearly 400 years ago, this reenactment of the crucifixion of Christ preserves the health and well-being of its residents to this day.
